Atemporal: A bridge of dance and music, a dialogue with the audience
In a world full of distractions, where screen time demands our attention, Atemporal offers a breath of fresh air: a vibrant performance in which choreographer Yentl de Werdt engages in a dialogue with musician Matchume Zango from Mozambique. The performance is an invitation to experience the power of music and dance, to feel the connection between generations, cultures, and hearts. Atemporal brings people together through the unique sounds of Chopi music, a living heritage from Mozambique that has been passed down for generations. The Chopi, recognized as World Heritage by UNESCO, use traditional instruments such as the timbilas, or large wooden xylophones. Their music transcends time and speaks to the imagination. Atemporal is more than a performance; it is an invitation to dialogue, a bridge between artists, cultures, and audiences. Atemporal challenges children to tap into their creativity, to let go, to move, and to discover. The piece allows them to use the other side of their brains and stimulates their imagination in a time when the digital world often takes over.

V svetu, polnem motenj, kjer čas pred zasloni zahteva našo pozornost, Atemporal ponuja svež veter: živahno predstavo, v kateri koreografinja Yentl de Werdt vodi dialog z glasbenikom Matchumejem Zangom iz Mozambika. Predstava je povabilo, da gledalci izkusijo moč glasbe in plesa in začutijo povezavo med generacijami, kulturami in srci. Atemporal združuje ljudi skozi edinstvene zvoke glasbe Chopi, žive dediščine Mozambika, ki se prenaša iz roda v rod. Glasbo Chopi je UNESCO priznal kot svetovno dediščino in uporablja tradicionalne instrumente, kot so timbile ali veliki leseni ksilofoni. Chopi presega čas in nagovarja domišljijo. Atemporal je več kot le predstava; je povabilo k dialogu, je most med umetniki, kulturami in občinstvom.
