About project:
Project Cupid – (Does Passion Still Exist?) is a research process that, through contemporary circus, clowning, and physical theatre, explores the question of the existence of passion, love, and connection in today’s society. The character of Cupid opens up a space for reconnecting with this inner spark and establishes a dialogue with the audience about whether there is still room for passion – and where Cupid is today, when it seems that his arrows no longer strike anyone.
The pop-up interventions in public space include the author’s exploration with the audience through a clown character, opening questions of intimacy and vulnerability through humor, physical expression, and interactivity.
O projektu:
Projekt Kupid – (ali strast še vedno obstaja?) je raziskovalni proces, ki skozi sodobni cirkus, klovnovski izraz in gibalno gledališče raziskuje vprašanje obstoja strasti, ljubezni in povezanosti v današnji družbi. Lik Kupida odpre prostor za ponovno povezovanje s tem notranjim žarom in vzpostavi dialog z občinstvom o tem, ali še vedno obstaja prostor za strast – in kje je danes Kupid, ko se zdi, da njegove puščice ne zadenejo več nikogar.
Pop-up intervencije v prostoru vključujejo avtoričino raziskovanje z občinstvom skozi klovnovski lik ter odpirajo vprašanja intime in ranljivosti skozi humor, fizično ekspresijo in interaktivnost.
