For many years, Plesni Teater Ljubljana has collaborated with Forum Ljubljana on the creation of dance performances during the Svetlobna Gverila festival and on integrating visual art into production frameworks. As part of the 2026 edition of the festival, which will take place for the 20th consecutive year under the central theme Diversity, we are including the intermedia project Camouflage — a dance performance by choreographer Vita Osojnik in collaboration with the BUILD-UP dancers and KUD Ponor.
About project:
The project Iridescence is an interactive site-specific audiovisual installation that explores and raises awareness of the specific relationships between the natural environment, perception, and the digital world.
Alongside the project, choreographer Vita Osojnik and a group of BUILD-UP dancers together with KUD Ponor will perform a dance piece in which the performers enter the live environment of the installation as its human reflection — as a distinct physical presence within a digital environment and temporality, where sound and visual stimuli are mirrored, expanded, and transcended through choreography. At various moments, the choreography is joined by reflections of pulsating light projections and shifting soundscapes, creating a dynamic tension between the dancers and the computer algorithm. Its interpretation emerges as a continuous blending of identity, space, and even the very meaning of movement itself.
Plesni Teater Ljubljana že vrsto let sodeluje z zavodom Forum Ljubljana pri nastanku plesnih performansov v času festivala Svetlobna Gverila ali pri vključevanju vizualne umetnosti v produkcijske sheme. V program festivala Svetlobna gverila, ki bo v letu 2026 pod naslovno temo Raznolikost potekal že 20. zapovrstjo, vključujemo intermedijski projekt Kamuflaža - plesni performans koreografinje Vite Osojnik v sodelovanju z BUILD-UP plesalci in KUD Ponor.
O projektu:
Projekt Iridescence je interaktivna site-specific avdio-vizualna instalacija, ki raziskuje ter ozavešča specifična razmerja med naravnim okoljem, percepcijo in digitalnim svetom.
Ob projektu bo koreografinja Osojnik s skupino plesalcev izvedla plesni perfomans v katerem nastopajoči vstopijo v živo okolje instalacije kot njen človeški odsev; kot specifična telesnost v digitalnem okolju in času, kjer se zrcalijo zvočni in vizualni dražljaji, ki jih avtorica s pomočjo koreografije razširja in transcedentira. Koreografiji se na različnih točkah pridružujejo odsevi pulziranja svetlobnih projekcij in zvočnih premikov, kar ustvarja dinamično napetost med plesalci in računalniškim algoritmom. Njena interpretacija se kaže kot nenehno prelivanje identitete, prostora, pa tudi samega pomena gibanja.
