Emma Murray (CH/NZ): RAZPAKIRATI KOREOGRAFSKO PRAKSO / UNPACKING A CHOREOGRAPHIC PRACTICE

Predstavitev delavnice / Workshop presentation

Koreografinja Emma Murray se v zadnjem času posveča predvsem vprašanju »delovanja« sodobnega plesa, ob čemer razpira svojo lastno gibalno raziskavo v smeri raziskovanja različnih oblik percepcije, vključno s predstavitvijo dela dramaturga in pisca Guya Coolsa, s katerim je Emma sodelovala pri njegovi zadnji predstavi (The way you look tonight).

Delavnica: 17. – 19. 6. od 9:30 – 15:00

Choreographer Emma Murray recently focuses primarily on the issue of contemporary dance “action”, opening up her own research of movement in the direction of exploring different forms of perception, including the presentation of the work of the dramaturge and writer Guy Cools with whom Emma collaborated in his last performance (The way you look tonight).

Plesno-performativna raziskava / A dance-performative research

Na javni predstavitvi ustvarjalca povežeta štiri ločene raziskave s pomočjo nadrealističnega principa igre »cadavre exquis« ter v zadnjih minutah posameznega sola drug drugemu intervenirata na odru in tako prepleteta štiri ločene koščke raziskave. Sara Janašković se v svoji raziskavi Arhiv: pralnica ukvarja z vsem, kar pelje. Super je ta svoboda, vse bo še v redu. Centrifuga je na 180 bpm. Eksperimentalni avdio-plesni projekt Vrzel/Groove (eksperiment) Jana Rozmana pa je raziskava pojma zvočnosti (v najširšem pomenu besede) v povezavi s telesom performerja.

At the public presentation the authors connect their separate solos, using the principle of the surrealist game »Exquisite corpse« and in the last minutes they intervene into each other’s solo, to intertwine four separate pieces of research. Sara Janašković in her research Archive: deep spin fryer dryer deals with everything that propels. This freedom is great, all will be fine. The centrifuge is at 180 bpm. The experimental audio-dance project Groove (experiment) by Jan Rozman is a research into the notion of sonority (in the widest sense of the word) in relation to the performer’s body.

Žigan Krajnčan in Gašper Kunšek v gibalni raziskavi preiskujeta prostore vmesnosti, nenaseljenosti in (potencialne) naseljivosti, kamor umeščata svoj gib. Kot da je treba vsakič znova in ponovno ozavestiti njegov impulz, najti njegov izvor. Imenovanje je ob tem kvečjemu omejevanje. Neimenovano je Zavedanje. Pozornost. Emocija. Gravitacija. Svetloba.

In their movement study Žigan Krajnčan and Gašper Kunšek research the spaces of the intermediate, of the uninhabitable and the (potentially) inhabitable, where they place their movement. As if it was necessary to become aware of its impulse, to find its source, over and over again. To give name is nothing more than to limit. The Untitled is the Awareness. Attention. Emotion. Gravitation. Light.
