Poskusili bodo izkusiti individualnost njihovih teles v gibanju.
Vabimo plesalce z dobrim sodobnim plesnim znanjem in odrskimi izkušnjami. Zainteresirane naprošamo, da ob prijavi oddajo nekaj stavkov o svojih performativnih izkušnjah in kratko motivacijsko pismo za izbiro tega projekta ter kratek posnetek svojega plesa (do 5 min.).
Prijave zbiramo na info@ptl-lj.si do 31. 8. 2020.
Vsi prijavljeni bodo obveščeni o izboru do 19. 9. 2020.
The artistic project TEMPORARILY ALIGNED BODIES focuses on the repetition as a factor that usually causes a synchronous experience. The creative process will address the following choreographic themes: gesture, individuality, internal connections, emotional structure, moving surfaces, proximity and perspective, as well as the redistribution of movement forces within a spatial arrangement. The goal of the process will be to reflect on and experience the strong perception of the individual evolving and changing over time.
As part of the creative process, participants will perform a series of exercises and actions that will help the choreographer to understand the character and physicality of the dancers. They will try to experience the individuality of their bodies in motion. They will play with gestures and their duration, looking for details. In her work, Blanca is interested in exploring surface textures and tensions, coincidence, free will and autonomy. Its purpose is often to move and question boundaries in search of the unknown and meaning. She is inspired by concepts such as order and complexity, where things emerge from a simple set of predefined rules. She mostly works with material that is very personal, even idiosyncratic, for the performer.
The creative process will begin on 15th November 2020 and end with the premiere and reprise on the 19th and 20th December 2020 at PTL - Dance Theatre Ljubljana.
We invite dancers with good contemporary dance knowledge and stage experience. Those interested are asked to submit a few sentences about their performative experiences and a short motivation letter for choosing this project, as well as a short recording of their dance (up to 5 minutes) which can be recorded with a phone.
Applications should be sent at info@ptl-lj.si until 31st August 2020.
All applicants will be notified of the selection by 19th September 2020.
