O predstavi:
Dialog plesalca in elektronike, ki svoj navdih jemlje v entropiji zaprtih in odprtih sistemov. Entropija je povezana z naključnostjo, torej odsotnostjo informacij - v živih bitjih je ta prvobitna informacija DNK, ki entropijo nadzoruje, preprečuje razkroj. Intervencija plesalca tu ni samo gibalna ampak tudi zvočna, ob manipulaciji z elektronsko napravo pa glasbenik plesalcu dodaja in odvzema možnosti dialoga z okolico, pretoka informacij. Flamenko je grajen na urejeni strukturi, ki se v veliki meri oslanja na ritem, orodje v pričujoči predstavi pa so sekundarna usta, ki jih plesalec dobi s tem, ko elektronska naprava preko napetosti, sprožene z udarci plesalca, proizvaja zvoke, ki plesalčevo telo podaljšajo v prostor. Raste torej nov gradnik, tujek v začrtani strukturi, entropija v večjem planu. Predstava sledi razvoju družbenih struktur v civilizaciji - vsaka inhibicija kolektivne želje/potrebe entropijo poveča do te mere, da ni vzdržno in pritisne na vzvod spremembam. Enako diktiranje glasbene sekvence s strani glasbenika sproži polarizacijo in upor prehaja iz objekta (plesalec) v vodstveno strukturo (glasbenik).
About the performance:
A dialogue between the dancer and the electronic sound system exploring the motif of entropy of closed and open systems. Entropy is closely connected to randomness, that is, absence of information - in living beings this primary information is the DNA that controls the entropy and prevents decay. The dancers intervenes not only through movement but also through sound generating where the musician gives or takes away the chance of communicating with the surrounding environment. Flamenco is based on an organized structure, based on rhythm, but here the dancer utilizes his body as a mouth of its own, rising to existence through an electronic device that manipulates the sound of the feet and prolongs dancer’s expression to a spatial and sound dimension. The performance inspects the development of social structures in a civilization - each inhibition of a collective urge maximizes the entropy to an unbearable extent which then triggers the change.
