O predstavi
About the performance
The solo performance Close-ups works on the materiality of the body. This does not stem from psychological motivations but from physical principles and practices. The performer/choreographer treats the body as an object filled with particles of information and references. In each of the five parts of the performance the focus is placed on a single physical task, through which the link between the materiality of the body and the potential materiality of emotion is being explored. Choreographic “close-ups” are tools for construction and deconstruction of potential new bodies, composed of illogical functions and connections.
In the space without references, the architecture of movements is composed in the moment, constantly falling apart and re-assembling, thus create unforeseeable course of events.
