O instalaciji

Velikan je skrivnostno bitje, ki je osamljeno in izgubljeno v razprostrani pokrajini, počuti se tujek. Z njim in s plesalci bomo prepotovali pot od PTL-ja do Špice in z velikansko gmoto zamrznili v času in prostoru. Velikan je izdelan iz recikliranih plastičnih vrečk in je iz različnih delov »sešit« skupaj in napolnjen z zrakom.

About the installation

Iceberg the giant is a lonely mystic creature lost in the vast landscape, feeling alien. We will travel from PTL to Špica together with the giant and the dancers and freeze in time and space with the giant mass. The Giant is made of recycled plastic bags and is “sewn” together and filled with air.

V plesnem popotovanju se bodo predstavile študentke in diplomantke Akademije za ples, ki bodo skozi različne plesne in prostorske intervencije na prostem popeljale obiskovalce festivala od Parka Špica ob Ljubljanici do Plesnega Teatra Ljubljana.

Nastopajo: Kaja Marion Ribnikar, Saša Šveigl, Nataša Djurić, Vanessa Perne, Larisa Počič, Ajda Fabjan, Neja Jeršin, Špela Šafarič, Tina Habun, Neža Blažič, Anamarija Bagarič.

Students of the Dance Academy will present themselves in a dance journey, taking festival visitors through various open‑air dance and spatial interventions from Špica park by the Ljubljanica river to Dance Theatre Ljubljana.

Udeleženci in udeleženke PTL-jeve Kreativne šole plesnega filma bodo predstavili svoje kratke plesne filme, ki so jih posneli skupaj s plesalkami Akademije za ples.

The participants of PTL’s Creative School of Dance Film will present their short dance films created in collaboration with the dancers from the Dance Academy.

Short descriptions of solo presentations by young artists from the Dance Academy who will participate in various locations of the U[KREP] Festival and perform in the video production by PTL’s Creative School of Dance Film.

Urška Centa: SOLEDAD / SAMOTA / SOLITUDE

Soledad / Samota je privid prihajajočih družbenih sprememb, ki jih napoveduje bližnja prihodnost. Ne vedeti, v kaj se bomo zbudili jutri, je slutnja grozečih prikazni, v katerih lahko vedno znova nemo opazujemo igro cikličnosti zgodovine. In zato plešemo, oznanjamo, se prebujamo; kajti za nov svet gre!

Soledad / Solitude is an illusion of the upcoming social changes that are predicted in the near future. Not knowing what we will wake up to tomorrow is a premonition of threatening apparitions, in which we can repeatedly observe in silence the game of the cyclical nature of history. And so we dance, preach, awaken; it’s about the new world, after all!

Špela Šafarič: UTOPIJA ALI DISTOPIJA? / UTOPIA OR DYSTOPIA?

Po vsaki krizi nastopi okrevanje, ustvari se nova realnost. Utopija ali distopija. Mehanizacija kot pomoč človeku ali kot nadzor in orožje. Naprej s človečnostjo ali nazaj k pohlepu. Kakšno novo realnost bomo ustvarili?

After each crisis, there is recovery, a new reality emerges. Utopia or dystopia. Mechanization as an assistance to man, or as control and a weapon. Forward with humanity, or back to greed. What kind of a new reality are we going to create?

Sara Janašković: MARTA JE ODREZALA ZADNJO VRTNICO / MARTA CUT THE LAST ROSE

Dobila sem obisk. Bila sem jaz, iz druge časovnosti. Vsebinam mojih mislih, mojega védenja, našim skupnim predstavam, kaj je in kaj ni, res težko zaupam. Naj spregovori (e)motion.

I got a visit. It was me, from another temporality. I find it really hard to trust the contents of my thoughts, of my knowledge, our common ideas of what is and what is not. Let (e)motion speak.

Kaja Marion Ribnikar: IN ČE SE VSE USTAVI? / AND IF EVERYTHING STOPS?

Ne glede na to, ali imamo pandemijo, pride do tretje svetovne vojne, ostaneš brez partnerja, ne moreš več plesati. Uničimo svet, narava uniči nas, ne glede na to, kaj se zgodi, se svet vrti naprej. In kaj, če se ustavi? Ali se ustavi vse? Za vedno?

No matter if we have a pandemic, if there is a third world war, if you end up without a partner, if you can no longer dance. We destroy the world, nature destroys us, no matter what happens, the world keeps turning. And what if it stops? Does it all stop? Forever?

Saša Šveigl: MASKE / MASKS

Ne imeti stika z drugimi. Občutek nemoči, osamljenosti, ne biti slišan in ostati sam s sabo in s svojimi mislimi. In vprašanje: kaj se bo zgodilo z nami v prihodnosti? Ali se bo vse vrnilo na stare poti ali bo vse drugače? Ali bomo prisiljeni nositi maske do konca življenja?

Not having contact with others. Feeling helpless, lonely, not being heard, and staying all by yourself and with your thoughts. And the question: what will happen to us in the future? ill everything go back to the old ways, or will everything change? Will we be forced to wear masks for the rest of our lives?

Nataša Đurić: KAJ SLIŠIŠ? / WHAT DO YOU HEAR?

Ali realnost ustvarja nas ali smo mi v resnici tisti, ki jo ustvarjamo? Ali to, da ni vidna s prostim očesom, pomeni, da ne obstaja ? Lahko se ustavimo in jo začutimo. Kaj slišiš?

Does reality create us, or are we in fact the ones creating it? Does the fact that it is not visible with the naked eye mean that it doesn’t exist? We can stop and feel it. What do you hear?

Ajda Fabjan: SKUPAJ! / TOGETHER!

Svet se je za trenutek ustavil in pokazal naše iskrene potrebe. Ko pogledam nanj, ga vidim in jemljem drugače. S spreminjanjem snovnih načel človeškega bivanja se je vzpostavila nova realnost, v kateri je veliko neznanega. Odkrivamo jo hkrati in skupaj!

The world stopped for a moment and pointed to our genuine needs. Looking back, I see and perceive it differently. By changing the material principles of human existence, a new reality emerged, filled with the unknown. We are discovering it simultaneously and together!

Vanessa Perne: POLZENJE SEDANJOSTI / OOZING OF THE PRESENT

Če hočemo ločiti preteklost, sedanjost in prihodnost, ne ostane nič. Preteklosti ni več, prihodnosti še ni, sedanjost pa polzi hitreje, kot polzijo solze po licih. O njej govorimo, in že postane preteklost, iz prihodnosti pa se rodi nova sedanjost.

If we want to separate the past, the present and the future, nothing remains. The past is gone, there is no future yet, and the present oozes faster than tears ooze down the cheeks. We talk about it, and it already becomes the past, and from the future, a new present is born.

Larisa Počič: TRENUTEK, KI SE NE VRNE / MOMENT THAT DOESN’T COME BACK

Nova realnost je čas, ko odvržem navidezne plasti vsega, kar nisem več ali pa nikoli nisem bila. Sprašujem se, kako preprostejše bi bilo življenje, če bi ga res zaživela s popolnim zavedanjem, da posameznega trenutka nikoli ne bom mogla doživeti še enkrat.

New reality is a time when I shed myself of the apparent layers of everything I no longer am or never was. I wonder how much simpler life would be if I really lived it with the full awareness that I will never have the chance to experience a given moment again.

V sodelovanju s KUD Transformator nadaljujemo s serijo gibalnih pogovorov Ples(ni) prepih.

Tokrat se bomo po dolgem času srečali v živo in govorili o predstavah festivala Ukrep, ki si jih bomo lahko ogledali v petek in soboto (12. in 13. 6.). Sledil bo skupen ogled instalacije VELIKAN_ledena gora avtorice Ajde Tomazin, plesnih solov študentk Akademije za ples in krajših plesnih filmov, ki so jih z njimi posneli v PTLjevi Kreativni šoli plesnega filma. V tokratni izvedbi boste imeli možnost sodelovanja pri oblikovanju dela programa naslednjega festivala UKREP!

19.00 - DANCE DRAFT

In cooperation with KUD Transformator we continue with a series of movement conversations Dance Draft.

This time, after a long time, we will meet in person and talk about the performances of the festival Ukrep, which we will be able to watch on Friday and Saturday (12th and 13th June). This will be followed by a joint viewing of the installation ICEBERG – The Giant by Ajda Tomazin, dance solos by the students of the Academy of Dance and short dance films, which were shot with them at PTL's Creative School of Dance Film. In this edition you will have the opportunity to participate in a part of the concept of the program of the next festival UKREP!
